I’m from Howrah, Kolkata, West-Bengal. Although I born and grew up in a small historical town name Serampore. I’ve completed my graduation and diploma in multimedia. Since childhood I was love to doing artwork make various type of handwork for decorate home. Last 5 years I’m passionate about crafting and its turned into my hobby.

Hello all, I am Sudha Kabra, a very enthusiastic crafter. I really love to craft at any time. I am home-maker and mom of two teenagers.

I used to do crafting since my school time but in between it stops for sometime. Gradually I came back and started creating things from Quilling!! I still love that art very much.

Nowadays, I am working high on creating flowers from different materials – papers, quilling strips, foam, vellum, and so on. Also I love to make mixed media art on different bases, decoupage and love to do altered art very much!!

DT Reveal - Day 3

Hello Everyone,

Here we have Rachelle and Rituparna for Day 3 reveal

Over to them

 I am a Christian, Wife, Mother and Grand Mother. Been married for 32 years to a very dear and supportive husband. I am living in Switzerland but are originally from South Africa. 

My passion is scrapbooking and card making and Mixed Media journals. I have a few interests like - photography, reading, jewellery making and mosaic. As far back as I can remember I have always been involved in crafts. Scrapbooking has become a passion of mine over the last couple of years. I love the whole idea of scrapbooking our life story for my children to carry with them for the rest of their lives. My blog is for those who love to scrap and like to have peeks at other peoples work. It is also to show my friends and family far away what we have been up to. I am a animal lover especially dogs (pugs). I am happy, I am blessed, the Lord Jesus has been very good to me and my family and I believe He has blessed me with a special talent to communicate with others and to share information about this great hobby we all so much enjoy. 

I do not have a particular style. I love to explore and learn more styles and techniques. Normally I work with what I have and let the paper, pictures or embellishments inspire me.

 I am Rituparna,from  a city with historical importance,Berhampore,West Bengal.Thiscity is famous  for  Ivory work,Brass work,Murshidabad Silk work,Sholawood work accross the world.I am from rich cultural family background,I am so passionate about art and craft from childhood and all inspirations got from my father.After completion my Masters in Political Science i was doing a job but it did not satisfied me.After last 14th years i am learning so many craft forms from various known crafters,completed diploma in Art & Craft course,completed diploma courses of Mural from Holy Child School of Fine Arts,Mumbai,also taking courses in Art and Craft and now i am housewife of Civil engineer and a proud mother of 21 months daughter,lives at Faridabad,Haryana,India.I used to get inspiration from them and now i besides my homemaking i used to do my craft work,emprovise me and trying to forward in next level.Basically i have many different forms of crafting,mainly i loved too much painting,mixedmedia,clay work,colouring,layering,collage,decoupage,distressing,altered art and trying to experiments.

DT Reveal - Day 2

Hello crafty friends

Here comes our DTs for the Day 2 reveal.

 I love all paper crafts including mixed media, journaling and cards. I also dabble in papermaking, photography, fibre art, and altered books. I am an active member of several card and mixed media groups and on the design team of several challenge blog. I love the world of blogging, it has opened many doors for me. My favourite quote is by Maya Angelou. “You can’t use up creativity. The more you use, the more you have.” I hope you join me in my search for my creative side.

A graduate in Chemistry, a passionate Bharathanatyam dancer, allured towards the alchemy of art for the past 20 years. 

Dance has taught me that any sense of direction to my future should come out of my own hands. This reflection contributed to engaging my wishes in sketching. I wanted my strokes to speak in this pursuit with a firm belief that Art breathes life into space. The blending of colours in creating works of art has always fascinated me. This curiosity and fascination led me to learn the art of painting. My exposure and training in the field of art and painting has instilled confidence in me to try out many things in life.

I am a Christian and a wife of 47 years to my husband Charles, a mother of 2, and grandmother of 3 (one of whom will soon be 20!). I've always loved art and doing things with my hands, but it was much later that I started becoming a "true blue" crafter. I started out scrapbooking, and then it turned into crafts such as mixed media, making cards, and so on. A new passion!

Splashy Mix Challenges DT call

We are a monthly mixed media challenge blog featuring various techniques on mixed media projects, altered art, and paper crafts.
