Altered Mixed media Project by DT shraddha sharma

This is shraddha sharma here. For the month of July , I am presenting my altered mixed media project. I am inspired by the July challenge moodboard.

 I used circular base for designing. I also used all shades of pink, white pearls, flowers matching with the theme,Texture paste, stencil for the background design. I blend shades of pink together . I hope you like it and inspired by it to join us in our current month challenge.

ALTERED LOOP WITH 3D ICECREAM CONE BOUQUET BY SIRISHA SETIA

  ALTERED LOOP WITH 3D ICECREAM CONE BOUQUET

Hello,

I am Sirisha Setia, presenting my DT project for July month challenge, which is a combination of altered mixed media loop and a 3D Icecream cone as a bouquet of flowers.

                 

Inspired by the beautiful colors of the moodboard, the icecream cone and all time favorite pink color depicted in the flowers , background and the love all around on my project.

The altered loop with beautiful colorful flowers, and the ice cream cone as a bouquet of flowers given by a lover to propose,when Love is all around in the Air.

First, i stenciled the card stock in the shape of loop and added few sprays, and magical shakers to create the background. i added few fuzzy cutout of flowers and leaves on the side of loop with a couple motif proposing and few resin embellishments. I kept them white to compliment the colors around.

Next, i took a circle of cardstock and scored the lines in form of waffle cone effect and added flowers to give the look of an Ice cream Bouquet. 

At the end, i create a Shaker Lollipop and shaker ice cream to complete the project.

Mixed media ice craem banner

Hello crafty friends 

This is ricki arussi with my inspration for the     

beautiful july moodbord

          

What caught my eye the most was the ice cream, so I decided to make a banner of mixed media style ice cream.

That promotes the summer that will come to us for good

There will also be a tutorial on this banner soon

Hello! Hello! all you crafty souls

hope all of you are well and safe in these times

This is Jinal Savla bringing you my very first inspirational project for our current month challenge

Here is our exciting July Moodboard

I was inspired by the teal and pink colour from our moodboard

I am so excited to share my artwork with all of you.. this is what I created keeping in mind the moodboard

Sharing the pictorial with you...

I have used the circular MDF, stencilled using texture paste and then randomly smeared the paste 

Added some more texture in the centre, gessoed the base and then coloured it using blue and pink metallic paints

I have used clay embellishments, chipboard, MDF drops and gessoed all of them

Arranged my elements and used teal and pink colour splashes on certain embellishments... used unicorn cutout to represent Dreamy land as my focal and in the last sprinkled some fairy dust on wings and leaves

Altered Wood Slice

Hello crafty friends,

Gayatri here. I am so happy to share my first DT project for our current mood board.

I love the pink and blue combination in this month's mood board and decided to alter a wood slice.  Here is my project:

I primed the surface with gesso and created texture. I added blue and pink sprays on the base and stamped with Archival ink. I added lace, a few die cuts, chipboards, fussy cut flowers, handmade paper flowers, etc. I added a few clear drops and crystal drops also. I brushed mini stones here and there to create texture.
