Altered Clock - Home Decor

Chaitali here. Hope you all are taking a good care of yourselves by staying safe.

Today, I am here to share my project for May. This month our moodboard is so bright, vibrant and cheerful.

The lovely moodboard is like a color explosion! I was inspired by the vibrance and the bright colors: yellow, orange, red and green.

I altered an alarm clock. I created a garden with bright blossoms and fluttering butterflies.

Firstly, I applied Gesso to the entire clock. Then mixed mini & medium art stones with soft gel matte and applied it on the top and side of the clock. Once dried, applied a coat of cream texture effect paste.

Later, colored the clock with green and yellow colors. Then, decorated the clock with cheesecloth, flowees, butterflies, birds, chipboards, green wire, beads, and green moss.

Lastly, opened the clock from behind and created layers with floral paper, bird, and green wire.

Finally, splattered some golden paint on the clock.
