Altered Wooden Box

Hello Dear Friends,

This is Veena, today I am here to share the project I made for February moodboard. I was inspired by the butterfly colors in the moodboard. 

For this month, I decided to alter a wooden box. Below is the picture of finished project.

I started with applying black gesso on the box. Added texture paste using a mandala stencil. Then I glued the black gessoed embellishments on the box. 

After that I used magical shakers of purple and blue shade to color the box.

Then I used Metallic waxes "Electric Violet" and "Peacock Blue" on the embellishments.

I then took "Old Silver" and "Aged Brass" to highlight the embellishments and the box. Below are some close up shots of the finished project.
