Altered MDF Coaster!!

Hello, Friends

Dheepika here. I hope everyone doing good. Stay safe, creative with us and participate in our challenge and win the awesome goodies from our sponsors.

I'm back with a new altered MDF coaster project for this month.

A step at a time:

  • Take a MDF coaster and apply a coat of gesso.
  • Dry them and add texture with help of stencil.
  • Draw and cut the shape of  a guitar and apply crackle paste on it.
  • Once the coaster and guitar is dry add colors to it.
  • Glue the guitar shape to the coaster and add the paper rolls and thread on it.
  • Arrange the flowers, leaves and butterfly on the coaster.
  • Now the coaster is ready.

Here are a few photographs of the project including close ups

Hope you feel inspired any participate in the Challenge.
