Hi dear friends, I’m Yulia, I want to share with you my inspiration for the February Moodboard.

 I did it on canvas, I used a chipboard, handmade flowers, cutting, stencils to create a background, acrylic paint and paper cutting, powder for embossing. Hope you all enjoy it.

Altered Wooden Box

Hello Dear Friends,

This is Veena, today I am here to share the project I made for February moodboard. I was inspired by the butterfly colors in the moodboard. 

For this month, I decided to alter a wooden box. Below is the picture of finished project.

I started with applying black gesso on the box. Added texture paste using a mandala stencil. Then I glued the black gessoed embellishments on the box. 

After that I used magical shakers of purple and blue shade to color the box.

Then I used Metallic waxes "Electric Violet" and "Peacock Blue" on the embellishments.

I then took "Old Silver" and "Aged Brass" to highlight the embellishments and the box. Below are some close up shots of the finished project.

A home decor heart!

Hi friends, 

Maria Pilar is here sharing with you my inspiration for February Moodboard Challenge. 

I made for this occasion a heart as a home ornament using thread and white glue to give it the shape. I added a purple bow to hang it from my craft room before hitting the two halves in which I made my heart.
