Altered Bottles - Mixed Media

Hi everyone

Priya Satish this side with my mixed media inspirations for this month's moodboard challenge. I have created 2 similar looking bottles in mixed media style.

Here's the synopsis of my work:

Cleaned the bottles with spirit.

Applied Chalk paint Bavarian on the 2 bottles.

After it dried gave a very watery wash with Art alchemy Gold Amber paint. 

Die cut a few leaves and doily.

Heat embossed all the die cuts with Lindy's Oktoberfest Orange embossing powder. 

Layered the doily and leaves die cuts along with other metal embellishments. 

Added art stones and art pebbles.

Highlighted the layers with art waxes Red amber and Inka Gold Old silver. 

Painted the cap with chalk paint, gold amber and wax.

Tied cord around the next of the bottle and added a dollar to it.
