Hello Princess!!!

                                                    Hello Dear Friends,

I am Veena, today I am sharing with you the layout I have made for this month's challenge. I was inspired by the flowers and the colors from the mood board.

For this layout, I picked up my niece's picture which was a perfect fit for this month's color theme.

I selected the base paper in pink shades and added a layer of contrasting floral paper for the background with distressed edges. I then added texture paste and some embossing powder while the texture paste was still wet, then heated it with heating tool.

After that I started creating my focal point for which I layered few distressed scrapbook papers and used a paper frame for the picture. 

Then I started embellishing it with flowers and leaves. I have added cardboard pieces to the back of the flowers to add dimension to the project.

I have also added embossed dream catcher and waxed paper clay embellishments.

In the end I added some art stones, glitters, glass beads and art pebbles to complete the project.

Love is in the air heart box

Hi Friends

I am Yasmin here and is my first dt project of Jan 2020 for Splashymix Challenges, hope you all will like it.

I worked on papermania bare basics nesting heart box, gesso it then I applied textured paste with stencil, used mica powder, spray paints and acrylic paint. I attached chipboard embellishment "Love is in the air" with pastel coloured prima flowers. On top I brushed mixed flaxes in white and gold colour.

Altered Iron

Hello crafty Friends,

I am Apoorva,  Today I am gonna share with you what I created using colours and elements form this months mood board.

For this project, I chose to alter an old Iron, which was lying around my house for several years without being even touched. On looking this months mood board it suddenly struck in my mind that iron is the perfect fit for this mood board. And I am extremely happy with the results.

I started with sanding the iron and adding a coat of white gesso. I then colored it with light pink chalk paint.

I used one of my favorite photos of my mom in her teens as a focal point. Which I thought would be perfect for the project because of its vintage look.

Then I started embellishing it with lots of laces, trims, some burlap, fabric and acrylic flowers. Also added some feathers along with pearls and beads. Lastly, I added a chipboard bicycle to complete the project.

I was inspired by the colours and flowers and created a layout for a new baby. I did some background stamping and added textures with stencils.I have made flowers using diecuts and embellished the layouts with flowers,foliage, chipboards, laces, sequins, clear drops, sequins etc
